The window in hided but can be made visible with Win_Reopen.
G_Float
(Bit 16)
The window is opened as a so-called float window. This type of window is always in the front and has smaller edge elements. Float windows are especially suitable for building toolboxes, because all of the tools should be easily accessed when working in a document window.
Only the float windows of the currently active program are visible, all others are automatically removed from the screen.


The float property is supported starting with Mac OS 8.6. Older versions do also depict a float window, which, however, behaves like a regular document window.

Attention: If this bit is set, the name of the window is not displayed.

Win_Mousepos R Win[,Xin,Yin],R Xout,R Yout
Win The number of the window in front of which the mouse is actually positioned. A zero indicates that it is not an EasyGem window.
Xin,Yin In this parameters you usually pass Mx,My. It is self-evident that each arbitrary position on the real screen may be passed as well.
Xout,Yout Position of e.g. the mouse on the virtual screen. If Win is the ID of a text window, the result ist not returned in pixel but in characters.
Determine the mouse position on the virtual screen.

Flags Window flags:

Bit 0: Suppresses the automatic deletion of redraw areas for user windows.
Bit 1: Suppresses deletion of redraw areas in the info line. This can be practical if you have defined your own redraw routine for the info line.
Bit 2: If this bit has been set, the entire window content is redrawn when scrolling and not just moved and only the resulting gap redrawn.
Graphics and user windows with quick redraw routines yield better scrolling results (less jerking) if this bit is set.
Bit 3: This suppresses the so-called smart scrolling (the window content follows the movements of the slider in the scroll bar). Smart scrolling is available only starting with Mac OS 8.5.
